Hands-on roles spanning academic research collaborations and industrial computer vision deployments.

Computer Vision and Graphics Researcher

CVG Kawasaki Laboratory, Kyushu University | Multimedia Lab & LIVIA, ÉTS

May 2024 – PresentFukuoka, Japan & Montreal, QC
  • Submitted a paper to 3DV introducing Differentiable Clipped Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation (DCCVT), a differentiable Voronoi-based meshing framework that extracts high-quality meshes from implicit surfaces in PyTorch, outperforming state-of-the-art marching tetrahedra and Voronoi extraction methods.
  • Focus on differentiable geometry pipelines for 3D reconstruction.

Computer Vision Research Developer

Zebra Technologies | Matrox Imaging Industrial Research Chair, LIVIA

May 2023 – Aug 2023Montreal, QC
  • Built a Python pipeline to augment barcode datasets using C++ and the Matrox Imaging Library to auto-generate test files and run AI benchmarks, saving ~1500% costs.
  • Captured hazmat label data, built/augmented a dataset, and trained an RTMDet/YOLO-style model to detect labels in video feeds with 98.2% accuracy.

Analyst Programmer

Loto-Québec, Technologies Nter

Jan 2022 – Apr 2022Montreal, QC
  • Improved performance of Vue.js components for a smoother, more responsive UI.
